If you're craving beauty and meaning instead of more breaking news, join Belgian artist Sieglinde Van Damme for an intimate, inspiring and hands-on afternoon designed exclusively for the Belgian Club of Northern California.
It's a powerful invitation to slow down, connect, and reimagine what else might be possible in life and in art.
Good Wine, Great Company, and a Few Beautiful Creative Surprises Along the Way
We'll start with wine, refreshments, and time to explore the exhibition.
Then join Sieglinde for an interactive artist-led walkthrough.
Finally, take part in three revealing hands-on exercises designed to unlock your own creative flow - expect to be surprised! No art background needed, just curiosity and an open mind.
The creative invitations include:
Relax – A meditative drawing technique that calms the mind in just 2 minutes. (You'll want to use this one daily.)
Observe – A Picasso-inspired prompt where anything goes and everything is accepted.
Allow – A playful group exercise based on a method originally used by the Surrealists to invite connection, flow, and imagination.
Each activity offers a gentle shift in perspective, helping you see something familiar in a completely new (and surprisingly fun) way. You'll even take your creative explorations home with you.
And one very lucky participant will receive a small, handmade, framed artwork in a special BCNC raffle hosted by Sieglinde.

Who is Sieglinde?
Sieglinde Van Damme is an award-winning artist, economist, and creative entrepreneur with a unique background in business strategy and visual arts. Her work, exhibited across the U.S., Europe, Russia, India, and Japan, explores the intersection of art and possibility. She combines analytical insight with creative innovation, both in the studio and as a former advisor to Silicon Valley startups.
A bestselling co-author of Jumpstart Your New Reality, she developed a signature blueprint for navigating change through creative thinking. Sieglinde holds an MS in Economics from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and an MFA from San José State University, where she also taught. Her work is held in private and corporate collections worldwide, including Sotheby's International Realty in France-Monaco.
