Belgian Dynasty Day Dinner
Sunday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m.
Belgium Dynasty Day, aka King's Feast, serves to celebrate, preserve and remember the unique culture of the Kingdom of Belgium. It is a night of gastronomical delights. Since we no longer have a Belgian restaurant around the Bay Area, we selected the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco, a restaurant that welcomed us for the same event in 2019. All participants had a wonderful and enjoyable time.
We are looking forward to welcoming many Bay Area Belgians as well as newcomers.
The menu will consist of:
Starter: Soup, Salad, Bread and Butter
Appetizer & Entrée: Select from the following options:
-OPTION 1- Appetizer: Coquille St Jacques; Entrée: Chicken Breast Chasseur with Vegetables and Rice (cost is $60)
-OPTION 2- Appetizer: Pâté de Campagne; Entrée: Veal Roast with Scalloped Potatoes and Vegetables (cost is $60)
-OPTION 3 NEW- Appetizer: Salmon Beurre Blanc; Entrée: Prime Rib with Scalloped Potatoes and Vegetables (cost is $74)
Dessert: Ice Cream and Freshly Brewed Coffee
Beverages: Bring Your Own Bottle of Wine to share with your table. All left over bottles, including opened ones, will be auctioned as a lot, and the proceeds will go towards the total corkage fee for our party.
All other beverages will be purchased at a no-host bar.
The costs mentioned above already include 18% gratuity and Sales Tax.

The picture above is the Dynasty Palace located at the foot of the Mont des Arts park in Brussels. It was built as part of the world exhibition in 1958, also called 'Expo 58'. The building fits into a global urban plan by the architects Jules Gobert and Maurice Houyoux for the layout of a square between the Royal Palace and the lower city. The Dynasty Palace functioned as a reception room for official ceremonies during 'Expo 58'.
BCNC invites you to the Belgian Dynasty Day Dinner that will be happening at the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco.
The Basque Cultural Center has been recognized yearly by Zagat and numerous newspaper reviews for its great taste and service. The cuisine has an upscale appeal while welcoming in the casual diner.
