🇧🇪 Commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge

Every January, our community comes together to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who fought in the Battle of the Bulge. This year's commemoration carries exceptional meaning, and a deep sense of urgency.

We will honor Ken Mar, 2nd Infantry Division, 23rd Infantry Regiment, our last remaining Battle of the Bulge veteran. Ken will turn 101 years old in March and continues to inspire us all. He recently received a special medal from the Prime Minister of Luxembourg and has met both the new Consul General and the Ambassador of Luxembourg. Ken will be traveling from Sacramento to join us, making this gathering especially precious and possibly our final opportunity to honor him together.

We are also honored to welcome distinguished guests:

• Nathalie Delrue-McGuire, Honorary Consul of Belgium

• Joseph Senninger, newly appointed Consul General of Luxembourg in San Francisco

This is more than an event, it is a moment of remembrance, gratitude, and shared history for the Belgian community and friends. Family and friends are warmly invited.
