Wine Tasting at Cooper-Garrod

BCNC invites you to a relaxed afternoon hike (3½–4 miles) featuring stunning views of the entire valley—and even as far as San Francisco. Meandering trails will make this adventure one of the most enjoyable ways to experience this 150-acre estate of vineyards, stables, and the surrounding Fremont Older Open Space Preserve.

We'll end the day on the scenic outdoor patio, sharing stories and enjoying a wine tasting at the Cooper-Garrod Estate. Their warm and welcoming staff will ensure a memorable experience.

So join us for this Belgian Club event at the beautiful Garrod Farms on the hills above Saratoga! Location: 22645 Garrod Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070.

All hikers will meet at Garrod Farms on Sunday, June 29 at 1:15 PM. Please note that the road leading to the meeting point is quite winding—plan a little extra travel time to arrive safely and on time.

The hike will begin promptly at 1:30 PM. After the hike, around 3:30 PM, we'll gather on the outdoor patio for a wine tasting accompanied by cheese and crackers.

If you have non-hikers in your party, they're welcome to relax at the winery and horse stables, enjoy a pre-tasting, and then join us at 3:30 PM.

Each participant will be responsible for their own food and drink orders.

• "Wine flight" samplers range from $22 to $35 per person; samplers are free with the purchase 2 bottles of wine.
• Non-alcoholic beverages or individual wine glasses are also available.
• Snacks available consist of a selection of cheese and various crackers, including gluten-free crackers, usually adding up to about $15 per person.

Registrations must be received no later than June 25! When reserving, please let us know if you plan to participate in the hike and/or the wine tasting, so Garrod can prepare the appropriate seating for our group.

NOTE: Both the Open Space Preserve and the winery are very welcoming to dogs, so well-behaved, non-aggressive pups are more than welcome to join us!
