Visit of Saint Nicholas — 2025 

Bay Area Celebration

Hosted in collaboration with the Dutch School of Silicon Valley

Every year, Saint Nicholas travels far and wide to bring joy to children, and in good tradition, he will once again make his way to the Bay Area.
This year's celebration is organized together with the Dutch School of Silicon Valley (DSSV), who will host Saint Nicholas at their Palo Alto and Berkeley locations.

Join us for a warm, festive, family-friendly gathering filled with songs, treats, and a special moment with Saint Nicholas himself.

Registration

To participate, please complete the registration form (in Dutch) using the link below:

Registration Deadline:

• November 30 (may be extended to December 1)

Important:
Each location can welcome only a limited number of children. Late registrations may not be accommodated if a location reaches capacity.

Payment:
All payments go directly to the Dutch School of Silicon Valley through their secure payment system. No additional payment or product is required from BCNC.

After registering:
Please add a short note in the registration form stating that you are a BCNC member (Dutch or English only).

Then email philippe@bcnc.com with your name and the number of children you registered.

What to Bring

Each child should bring one small gift, following these guidelines:

• Maximum value: $20

• Must be wrapped

• Clearly labeled with the child's first and last name

• Please hand the gift to an organizer upon arrival

• Keep sizes reasonable — all gifts need to fit together in the traditional Peet's bags

Your help ensures Saint Nicholas can present all gifts smoothly during the celebration.

Prepare for the Visit: Songs & Fun

To make the visit even more special, we encourage families to practice traditional Sinterklaas songs at home or in the car.

Volunteers Needed

To make the event enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask parents to volunteer for at least one task during the celebration.
Helping hands make a big difference and are very appreciated.
